Is there a maximum temperature that will ruin the desiccant plug for the STT8300M. The manual says to bake at 350°F for 4 hours but does not mention the maximum temperature. I'm not sure how well regulated my oven is and don't want to damage the plug.

I do not have the specs for the desiccant handy, but being a few degrees plus or minus should not hurt. It should be fine as well at a lower temp but will take longer to dry the desiccant..if unsure about your oven temp, it is better to bake it a few degrees lower than the recommended temp.
