Is it possible to process data from two cameras? I have an image of the Eagle Nebula taken years ago with an ST2Kxm. I now have the STC7 camera and was wondering if I could use the Original image as the L channel and just add the NB from the STC7? I know the physical size difference and there would be cropping involved.

Yes. As long as there aren't significant distortion differences between the images you can make them match up very accurately.

The Stack tool can successfully align images from different cameras and telescopes. Auto Star Matching, Astrometric, and even manual 2-Star alignment modes will do that.

In the past I've used Stack to align Palomar Deep Sky Survey images, which are scanned photographic images from the big Schmidt camera, with images taken with an amateur telescope and CCD camera. That was using the Auto Star Matching feature.
