    Hi,

    Attached:
    FW-8; my filter wheel
    SC-2: StarChaser
man1: snapshot of user manual for SC-2, p.10
    man2: snapshot of user manual for SC-2 p. 11

I know it doesn't make any difference but the picture in your SC-2 User manual (Version 2.0 20 Dec 2019)
    does not match my FW8-8300.

As you can see from the attached files, the holes don't line up. They are off by 45 degrees.

    Clear skies and stay safe.

    Thanks for reaching out.
Can I get the serial number of the Filter Wheel?
I'm going to ask our engineers to have a look.

So it seems someone back in the day thought it would be fun to orient the screw holes on this model differently from all the others, and we didn't notice! I'll take the blame for that one. D'oh!

In this case I think the fastest way to resolve it is to do is to swap out the front plate of the filter wheel. We can modify a plate to have extra four threaded holes in the correct place. @Tim please provide RMA and instructions. So you're not waiting we'll get one in stock modified and send it to you while yours is on the way back.

    Ok, sounds like a plan.

I will send my FW8-8300 cover to Diffraction Limited.

Please specify address and to whom the "attention" is addressed.

    Thanks!
