New SBIG Camera Models!

    We're pleased to announce several new Scientific CMOS cooled camera models:

    SBIG Aluma AC4040 - our new flagship large format camera. Features a large array of 4096 x 4096 pixels at 9 microns square. Available in three versions:
    • FSI Grade 2 - Peak QE 74% - excellent sensitivity at a great price.
    • FSI Grade 1 - Premium version with minimal pixel defects.
    • BSI - Extreme sensitivity with peak QE of 95% for the most demanding applications.
    SBIG STC-7 - our new flagship compact camera. This is a 7 megapixel camera with peak QE of 78%. Includes a built-in filter wheel and a complete set of 7 filters - LRGB + Ha + OIII + SII. This is a complete imaging system - just add telescope!

    SBIG STC-428-OEM - a variation on the STC-7 intended for OEM applications. Various customization options are available. This model is often integrated into medical and research lab equipment. Typical applications include ELISA microplate readers, colorimetry, fluorescence, and other low-light medical, research and industrial applications.

    SBIG STC-428-P - another variation on the STC-7 with a larger filter wheel to support commonly-available 36 mm unmounted and 1.25" mounted photometric filters (not included).
