I have a SBIG STL11000M with 8 pos filter wheel. I download image like usual which is all black but has no information from camera. Such as bit's, pixel values or anything. This has never happened before. Using Windows 8. The Sky X . All the same cables and set up as usual. Everything appears as normal on screen as far as pause time before image capture, image acquisition time, and download time, and appearance of image on screen. Image appears except it is all black and 0 values. I downloaded newest drivers also. I also tried CCD OPPS and MaxIm DL with the same results. Has anyone experienced this?
Thanks Doug, I tested my SBIG 4000 with the same set up and it read out fine. I will talk to Bill on Monday and see about sending my SBIG11000XM in. Thank you. Glad to see you at the helm of SBIG. )
