I'm thinking about moving from an ST-i to a larger chip guide camera to increase my FoV (and hopefully the number of guide stars available). The camera I'm looking at is approximately 11 x 7 mm (versus the ST-i's 4.8 x 3.6 mm). Being that the OAG manual mentions orienting the ST-i a certain way, I have a feeling the image circle with heavily vignette making a larger sensor a waste of time.

Anyone know where to find the image circle size for the OAG-8300?

The device was designed specifically for the ST-I. The illuminated circle may be slightly larger than the 1/3" sensor, but not much. The aperture at the last lens is 0.42".

Thanks Doug. I'm glad I asked.
