I'm getting on average 1-2 images per night that have a glow in one corner. I can't find any pattern to this. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

Looks like amp glow - as if the readout amplifier wasn't powered down during the exposure.

If I had to guess, it might be some kind of rare firmware glitch.

Unfortunately the STT firmware is no longer under active maintenance. Given the rarity of the problem I recommend that you simply toss out the occasional bad frame.

Thanks. I guess I could check to see if I have the latest firmware?

Can't hurt - use the SBIG Driver Checker.

Looks like I'm up date, some of my drivers were old and I did update those.
