I just received a new Aluma CCD 694 and I'd like to keep utilizing TheSkyX Pro's built-in camera add-on. When I try to add the new camera, it is not listed with the other SBIG cameras. What's the best way to be able to do this? If I download the daily build from SB, will the newer SBIG cameras show up?

You will want to use the ASCOM driver.

We need more specific information. What application are you running when you got this message?
If TheSky X, which version and daily build, and 32-bit or 64-bit?

    Here's some fundamental checks:
    1. Windows Device Manager
Is SBIG Camera A and B showing up in the list of devices?
If not, or you see a /!\ yellow triangle warning, then the device driver is not installed. You need to install it.
If it is there, move on to the next step.

    2. Launch the DL Config Utility
Is the camera in the list?
    If so, then Help... About.
It will show a list of versions of everything.
    [Copy to Clipboard]
    Then paste it here.
This will show us the versions of what is installed.

    3. If this is a new install of TheSky X, try this:
Right click on the TSX icon. Run as Administrator.
    Once it comes up, quit.
Do not run as admin again. TSX has a known installation issue that requires this elevation of privileges.

    4. ASCOM Diagnostics
Make sure you have ASCOM Platform 6.6 SP1.
Use the device connection test to connect to the DL Imaging Camera.
Select Camera, and then set DL Imaging Camera. Set the [Properties].
Double click on the camera in the list.
    Then [Connect]
    It should report success.

    5. Try again with whatever program gave you that error.
