    Hello
I've connectedthe FW5 to my STF8300 when the camera was energized and most likely I've burned the fuse on it as results from the many posts seen here in the past because the wheel seems to be recognized by the camera but doesn't move physically. I live in Italy so I think I can't send the wheel to your laboratories.
Do you think I can salve the problem from here? May you please telle me where this fuse is located and if it is an easy to find component through some electronic strores here in Europe?
    Thanks
    Luigi

Perhaps my colleague @Tim can assist.

How exactly did you determine it is recognized by the camera?

    Hi Tim
well I simply connect the filter wheel setup from the CCDOPS panel setting FW5-STF COM1 and the software seems to get all the old position settings of the filters as I sorted when I purchased the wheel.
More, looking at the CCDOPS ban at the lower side of the window, where all the camera functions are summarized, at the section filter i see the message "Unknown" and not the dash "-" as if no filter wheels are installed.
As soon I try to change filter a popup panel tells me that "the CFW reported that it is busy" and no filter is switched
Sometimes at the startup it tries to find the blue filter but the final message is the same
I just tried the other settings of the camera and it seems it works without problems (shooting, cooling, ...). I've even tried unmounting the wheel opening the FW5 hoping it was a mechanical problem but that's not the case.
I 'd like to know if the problem is the fuse and then I need to repair the camera here or better sending it there to your laboratories. In case I decided to repair the camera here I need of a picture of the position of the fuse and the exact type. I know it is a SMT 0603 2A but inside this category i've found different series (N, ASS, ...). Moreover those fuse seems to be available only in China.
    Any suggestion?
    Thanks
    Luigi
