Hi everyone, I ask you for help regarding a problem I encountered with my sbig stf8300m. I bought this used ccd, and at the first try it seemed that everything was working fine. However, by subtracting the darks, the photo of the light disappears completely. Going to analyze the fits I realized that the adu of the darks are strangely high about 18000, as well as the adu of the light both made at 300 seconds at a temperature of -10 °. I have already tried to do dark with other software other than the one used (I use Maxim) and to add dark with other software but the result is always the same, by applying the darks the photo disappears completely and only one or two brighter stars remain . Could it be a CCD problem? I also tried to update firmware etc. but the problem remains. Advice?
