Yesterday I purchased MaximDL. Since I was using it with an SBIG camera, and camera control and guiding were all I was interested in, I purchased the LT version. What I did not realize is that COM/ActiveX is not included in the LT version. Your documentation is correct and it was completely my fault. If this means that I have to purchase the PRO version outright, I completely understand. But I was hoping that there was a path to upgrade from LT to PRO. Please let me know, and thank you in advance for your help. Tim.
Yes, there's an upgrade path. Go to https://diffractionlimited.com/maxim-dl/ and click the Upgrades tab. Enter your email address and serial number. It should offer you upgrade options. (Just in case - we had some difficulty with level upgrades a while back; if for some reason it doesn't work then post here and we'll sort it out manually.) Also, I've manually set you to "customer" status on the forum so you can get into the MaxIm DL section. I had to look you up anyway, so this saves you a minute or two.
