   I need to take some images without the camera fan on. Can someone tell me how to turn off the fan on the STXL 11002??

   If you are using MaxIm DL, Setup Camera, Advanced. It has a Fan Control option you may be able to change.
   If the cooler is turned on, the fan will likely come on as a safety feature.

   Thank you Colin!!! Got it turned off and my images were amazingly better!! Guess the fan is defective.
