I'm trying to run my own analysis program and noticed from the FITS converter that there's a Pedestal value in CCDops that subtracts 100 from all pixels. Is there a way to change this in CCDops? I am trying to use the STF-8050M as a chemical scintillation detector so I need to be able to record extremely low pixel values even if that means there is significant background noise.
CCDOPS adds 100 to all pixel values to ensure positivity. The Pedestal value is the amount that was added.
