   While not as frequent as in the past when this issue occurs, I still get it on both of my STXL11002s - but not on my 16200.
   
   all drivers and firmware are current.
   
   any advice?

   The digital boards in those cameras are completely identical. I would look at the other hardware - cabling, hubs, computer, etc.
