    Doug, Me too. Tried four times to register but got rejected each time. Don't know why. I am a licensed Maxim DL user, with current license.

    Hi

    New member here with the same issue, recently purchased Maxim DL Pro Suite which works fine except the Maxpoint software, however I can't access the posts to see what the fix is, any chance you could upgrade me like the others.

    Also having trouble with Maxpoint. Need Registered Customer status to access the restricted forum. Just purchased Maxim DL & Maxpoint. Thank You.

    joining the maxpoint error club. can you please set me as customer? can't get maxpoint to work. getting the registry error code. won't even start. thanks, Rob

    Hello Doug,

    Sorry to get to you with a question not related to harware but I have been trying 3 times to log for SW support and I consistently get a "noreply" mail with the following text: "We regret to inform you that an error occurred validating your request to activate your Diffraction Limited Technical Support subscription. " This is quite frustrating.

    My question is quite simple. I would like to know if MaximDL will sooner or later support the Sony Alpha 7S camera. If yes, I purchase the V6 right away. Can you forward this question to the relevant people and get me the answer?

    I cannot find a record of you in our database, except for a demo download today. I will contact you with a private message to sort it out.

    I'm sorry but we have no plans to support Sony Alpha.

    I also use Sony Alpha 7S camera with MaximDL.

    Sony has released "Wirelessly access Sony cameras with the Camera Remote API beta,"
    based on HTTP and JSON, restricted in bulb exposure now.

    I'd recommend that you develop an ASCOM driver. But if you really want to produce a MaxIm DL-specific driver, we can supply you with our proprietary plug-in interface specifications. It includes a simple sample program that you can use as a starting point for your driver.
