I just want to know what size filter to buy for this wheel. I thought I bought a H-Alpha filter of the same size as the LRGB filters currently installed. I presumed they were 1.25" mount but no they appear to be a bit larger to the HA filter I received. I am using the filter with the ST-2000XM camera. Can I use a unmounted or a filter that doesn't have the threaded housing? You would think that the manual would explain this requirement but I didn't see anything in the manual.
    Thanks,
    Les

Hi Les, See the drawing. M28 thread for 1.25 inch filters.

What is the difference between the CFW-8 and CFW-8A and CFW-10?

The "A' designation was added to the CFW-8 when we began using the new filters with integrated IR coatings. The CFW-8 holds up to 5 filters and connects to the camera's AO/CFW/SCOPE port which means it works directly with both Parallel and USB cameras.
The CFW-10 is sold without filters and can hold up to 10 filters. It connects to the I2C-AUX port which means it works directly only with the USB cameras. It can also be controlled by an RS-232 Serial Port.
