Does Diffraction Limited intend to implement a workaround similar to what Sequence Generator uses which would allow Maxim to use PHD2 for guiding using the SBIG guide chip and still access the main chip? marshall edgell
PHD2 could connect to MaxIm DL's scripting interface and operate the autoguide camera through the interface. The interface can take exposures, download the guider image, and if necessary send the commands to the telescope for you. In other words, implement the autoguiding externally while using MaxIm DL to control the guide camera.
