I would like to create a custom power cable to allow the Eagle 3 Pro to power the Star Chaser 3. Would you mind sharing a wiring diagram so I know how to wire up the DIN connector?

Thank you. Always impressed with how quickly you respond. Any tidbits on new models?

The next few releases are in the Aluma AC series and have already been announced.

We do have more coming, but we’re not ready to announce quite yet.

Okay. Thanks. I've been eyeing the new large Sony CMOS chips, but hoping to stay within the DL family.

I recognize this cable question is incredibly specific, but for my needs I can't practically power the StarChaser with the AC "brick" that came with it .

I have looked up the 6-pin mini DIN pin out diagram for the Aluma cameras. Is there a place that sells cables for the Aluma cameras that terminate in a 5.5x2.1 DC female connector? If so, I can make things work without soldering, which would be the preferred outcome given my meager skills.

Alternatively, any chance you can tell me how to mate the 6 pin DIN to the attached power cable pin out? Is it as simple (not to understate the difficulty of soldering a 6-pin mini DIN) as connecting the wire connected to the positive terminal in the power cable diagram (attached) to the 1, 3 and 5 pins on the Mini-Din, and the wire connected to the ground pin on the attached diagram to the 2,4and 6 pins on the mini-DIN?

Again, apologies for both the specificity and the remedial nature of my questions here.

We strongly recommend a specific connector, as it's the only one that is positive locking. It is surprisingly difficult to assemble, though.

I might suggest buying one of our extension cables, cutting it in two, and rewiring one end of it. SKU 68007 available at https://diffractionlimited.com/product/12vdc-extension-cable/

Thanks for the tip. Have ordered and will try to assemble this week.
