Scripting with SC-3 and AO-X

    I have an SC-3 guider and an AO-X adaptive optics unit, and was wondering if it is possible to write scripts for this hardware via the interface provided by MaxIm DL. While going through the scripting documentation, it states that it is possible to write scripts for SBIG guiders with an AO-7 adaptive optics unit, but no mention is made of SC-3 and AO-X. I'm hopeful that the interface provided would also work with newer hardware but would appreciate some confirmation regarding this.

    Yes, depending what you are trying to achieve. The CCDCamera object has methods for accessing guider etc; MaxIm guider and main camera are whatever you've configured.
