serial number issue

    Camera (SBIG 8300M) serial number not being accepted by skyX ?

    my 8300 camera will not connect to skyx and it gives me an error saying serial number not valid...please advise

    That doesn’t make much sense. Can you connect to it with CCDOPS?

    As a TheSkyX Pro user myself you would be better asking this question on the Software Bisque forum however I can tell you that TheSkyX Pro does not query a camera’s serial number.
    Perhaps you have not entered Bisques’s Camera add-on activation serial number, or entered it incorrectly, or else the version of TheSkyX you have does not support connections to CCD cameras?

    The problem is with your software, not the camera. You need to contact Software Bisque for assistance.
