Controlling a RC-24" with TCS MKS-4000 controller and MaximDL. The observatory is on SkyNet which has scripted commands. Trying to see if the various delay settings in MaximDL such as:

Observatory window - Telescope Tab - Setup Auto Exposure - Delay after Move(s)
Camera Control Window - Expose Tab - Autosave Sequence - Delay First & Delay Between
Guider and Focus tabs - Delay

can or are used by default or will delays have to be set in the scripting?

    If you are scripting:
    • The Observatory window is not used and has no effect. So Telescope tab and Focus tab settings are not relevant.
    • Autosave settings matter, but ONLY if you drive the Autosave sequence feature from script. If you shoot individual exposures via script than the settings have no effect.
    • Guide tab settings matter.
