Sorry if this has already been posted.
I recently arrived at a school with an ancient (>20 years) Windows box running the instruments (SBIG 8 and 10e) for our telescope and would like to replace the computer with a newer one that is more reliable. We were told by IT network folks on campus that we'll need Windows 10 on the new computer we'll be replacing. Does anyone know if the standard software for these instruments will still run (and where can I download working versions thereof) on Windows 10 though? I imagine this is just CCDops. We don't need anything extra on the instrument computer -- just open/close and expose functionality, you know?

As long as you are talking about USB models, they will work fine. Parallel port cameras will not work.

Software is downloadable from our web site.

Hi, Thanks a lot for the response. The 8e is a parallel, the 10e are not.
