    Hi,
I have a ST-8300 with FW-8 and an SBIG ST-OAG that I intend to use with my Takahashi FSQ-106 which has been reduced to F3.6. My question is - is there a lower limit in terms of f-number for the OAG system. Can it be used with a F3.6 system?

    Kind regards,

    Peter

    Hi Peter,

I was traveling most of last week.
The metal back distance is 72.2mm using the FSQ reducer.
The OAG has an internal 7-element optical relay system with 0.7X focal reduction.
Without ray tracing it would be hard to tell if there will be any vignetting issues.
I think with proper flat fields you would be fine.

Let me know if you have tried this setup yet.
You can reach me day or evenings if you want phone support.
    Best regards
    Tim
