ST-i ASCOM connection for SIPS Moravian software

    I have a ST-i monochrome camera and wonder if there is an ASCOM driver available from SBIG for the software from the Moravian Instrument company which allows to connect this guiding camera via their SIP software program. I hope someone can tell me hope to connect the ST-i to this software as at this point when the ST-i is connected to my PC this software program does not see that the camera is there.

    We're working on a major driver update that will include ASCOM support, but it will be a while (months not days).

    this is good news even though it will take a while. Is there a possibility to get an email update once the ASCOM support is available? Thanks.

    Is there any update when an ASCOM driver for SBIG ST-i are going to be available? Is there any progress?

    There's a rumour that the new firmware for the ST-i can use the guider port to make the mount clobber the astronomer. I've seen it happen, but lived to tell the tale.

    Doug, are you still working on a major driver up-date that will include ASCOM support for ST-i camera......or is this project dead? Kindly advise. Thanks.

    It's in the development queue. Will be a little while as there are several projects ahead of it.
