This ST-i is about a year old. Works ok briefly but then ‘SBIG Driver Receive Timeout error = 30008’
To restore requires physical disconnect. Drivers are current, have used 3 different cables and ports on a Pc an on a hub, no change. Appears to happen more frequently when the camera is taking autodarks.

    advice?

Receive Timeouts usally are a symptom of a USB issue.
Assuming you are running on a Windows PC, did any updates go in recently? eg Win 10 Feature Update 2004 resets power management and other settings.
Check Windows Power Management, USB Selective Suspend is OFF (disabled).
For each USB device, USB hub, USB root hub, and PCIe device, make sure Properties, Power Management, [] Allow computer to turn off this device to save power is OFF (unchecked).
Try a cable direct to the PC, without a hub.

Colin- returning to this after a long period of cloudy skies.
So I continue to get receive or transmission timeout, or ‘operating system error = 30032’with this STi. Drivers are up to date, changed USB cables and ports.

    anything else I can check?
