My new ST-I PlanetCam shutter seems to be acting backwards. Grabbing a frame in CCDOps opens the shutter when trying to take a Dark, and closes the shutter for the Light frame. Same behavior in Nebulosity 4. SBIGDriverChecker64 reports all my drivers and camera firmware are up-to-date.

I tested using both a short 1 meter cable, and the long SBIG cable provided with the camera, and I attached both directly to my computer’s USB and through a powered hub. No joy.

Finally, when the camera isn’t powered, the shutter flops open and closed when rotating the camera. Not sure if this is correct unpowered behavior.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Hi Nik,

I think the shutter wires might be reversed.
