hi, got a used st2000xcm color one shot color to test the waters used a c8 with6.3 focal reducer, took a pics of m81 and was disappointed bright core but very little nebulosity in arms and very multicolored mottiling in pic for exposure of 180 seconds,iknow guiding was not great andpixel size was just a tad over 1 arcsecond which is oversampled? but I used an st6 years ago which had much more detail in galaxys, is there something wrong with camera or? I tried to include a few pics but the upload feature in this thread wont recognize my fits files but I can send pics direct through my email
