Hello, I have had an ST8300M since around 2012. Over last few years, the rubber bushings of well nuts that hold the fan to the heatsink have corroded away. After pulling one out, I realized that they were glued to a screw that likely holds the heat sink down. I could not find a replacement at my local HW store. Any idea on how I can get replacement well nuts? Regards Hemant
The SBIG P/N 51771 isolators are custom order and we get them in bulk. So I think the only option is to order some from us. You can use this link: http://ww7.aitsafe.com/cf/add.cfm?u...solators+(set+of+4)+with+shipping&price=40.00 (The shopping cart will want you to add $0 FedEx shipping... do that, but in reality we'll mail them in a bubble envelope.)
Doug, Great! Thanks a lot! Exactly what I was looking for. I have placed the order. What kind of glue do you use on these? Regards Hemant
Doug, Okay. In that case, I presume that they have a nut for the fan and a screw that goes into the heatsink. Guess I will wait for it to figure it out. Thanks a lot again. Regards Hemant
Doug, Thanks a lot. Do you know if they are shipped and when I should be expecting these to arrive? Regards Hemant
I checked and they haven't shipped yet... turns out we're a little short handed with the flu that's going around. They will be mailed so it will take a few days.
