Dear group, I Need help about my ST-8XME camera Is not working properly: The shutter Is not responding when taking dark frames. It is moving when pushed by hand, but seems the sensor Is not reading its position. Do you have any clues? I based in Italy and i have not found any support so far. Thanks Maurizio
Dark frames? That's normal for the shutter stays shut for Dark and Bias frames. It is even better if you cover the front of the telescope or camera when you do these functions. Flat and Light Frames, the shutter will open.
