I'm reading through the STC7 manual trying to get a handle on StackPro. At the bottom of page 21, it talks about dividing up the exposure into sub-exposures. I'm looking at the camera control window (Maxim DL 6.26) and I don't see a place to enter the subexposure time??? Readout Mode = Medium StackPro.

    Options menu Camera Settings.

Please review the camera user manual.

I'm reading page 21 of the STC-7 user manual. It says to enter a time for sub-exposure.
I'm in the Maxim camera control window: I see no input box for sub-exposure time.
The option arrow in the lower right corner just below the autosave button: I see no place to enter in that pop up window.

I'm sorry, but I don't see where to enter it?????? If you could post a screen shot, that would be helpful.

Expose tab Options / Camera Settings:

    1.jpg

Make sure your camera is selected in the Devices list. Click the Settings button:

    2.jpg

Enter your minimum sub-exposure duration, then click Update. Click OK.

    3.jpg

    Done.

Thanks Doug. A Winter storm is just starting, calling for 5 to 9 inches. Hopefully tomorrow evening, I'll be able to get into my Observatory to get this setup.

Am I going to have any issues using this camera on a f/4.5 scope?

I am, as we speak, operating an STC-7 on my Takahashi FSQ-106N f/5 telescope. Works great.

Thanks for the screen shots Doug. To find out what would be the saturation level of an image, Would I use the auto screen stretch to tell me the pixel values?
