Does anyone know if CCD Autopilot and/or CCD Commander will be able to use the Stack Pro™ image capture. Will either program be able to kick off the sequence? _..-- Tim
Our new generation cameras all use the DL Imaging drivers, which include ASCOM support. Any program capable of operating an ASCOM camera will be able to control it. DL Imaging supports the following camera series: STC scientific CMOS series Aluma AC advanced CMOS series Aluma CCD StarChaser CMOS autoguiders Of course CCD Commander works with MaxIm DL Pro, which can connect to the camera through the DL Imaging plug-in directly.
Hi Doug, That's good news. I have Maxim DL Pro and also use ASCOM so shouild be covered. ASCOM is a nice package for tying all the Astro gear together also. The software support for the SBIG cameras is most impressive. Thanks, Tim
