Doug, I've been waiting on my STF-8300M and FW8 since July 2 (order date). I ordered mine through Astronomics and I've called them several times and they couldn't seem to find out anything. I contacted SBIG sales, several times before the acquisition, and they keep telling me something that I couldn't understand about a distributor order queue. I once was told (in August) that the order would not be this week, but maybe the next. Next time, it was 4-6 weeks. The last time, Sept 2, I got the following Email from Yvette: "We cannot speak for orders thru our distributors as we do not know what their order queue looks like. I can tell you a new order for an STF as of right now is 8 to 10 weeks. I believe the Astronomics order is up soon." I guess you can probably understand some of our frustrations.
