STF-8300M - Turning off fans

    I'm currently looking for a way to turn off the fans on an STF-8300M camera. I'm using the most up to date drivers, camera firmware and the new version of Maxim DL 6.07.

    The setting in MaximDL for "Enable Fan" doesn't have an effect regardless whether or not its selected.

    The fan speed is fixed on the STL series.
    It always on.

    Tim wanted to write STF cameras. The only STT and/or STX/L can turn fan on/off.

    If memory serves me, the fan can also be enabled/disabled in the ST-7/8/9/10 family and STL's as well.

    Bill, you are right, but for STF fan is always ON by harware solution.
