Hi . I need a help.. I live in South Korea.I am using STL-11000M/C2 (Serial 06111407) since 2007 . Until last year, there is not problem and i used it well. But since last march, my camera does not work in 2x2 or 3x3 binning. To be specific, when i take picture by 2x2 or 3x3 binning, i can see only very bright star in the frame. But it is not clear picture at all. It will be work well only 1x1 binning mode. At next, when i take picture in 1x1 binning mode, i can see some white areas in bright area. There was not any shock or break during using it. I changed my computer and all related cables but everything is same. I attached two pictures for comparing 1x1 binning and 3x3 binning. All pictures are taken by same camera and telescope at same location.. Please help me...
Hi, I am another customer, maybe I can help. What software are you using? Do you have the latest SBIG Driver Checker installed, and latest drivers?
I am using Maxim DL V4 and V5. And i also updated SBIG Drivet Checker and installed latest drivers. But the problems are same in both program and latest drivers.
Yes. I used in CCDOPS , but situation is not changed. And i attached another picture. I take a bright object (M31 & M45) with 1x1 binning mode, black pixels are exist near the bright area . That pixels are not seen in last year. I summarize my problems. 1. My camera does not work well in 2x2 and 3x3 binning mode. 2. In 1x1 bining mode, many black pixels are shown. 3. After DDP processing, many white pixels are shown. I attach above pictures. Should i change CCD chip or internal electronic board?
I attached above two pictures with FITS format. - A size of 1x1 binning file is too large, so i compressed it to ZIP file.
Okay this actually isn't binning related. The same phenomenon is also visible in the Bin 1x1 image; it just isn't quite as obvious. It looks to me like one of the bits on the A/D converter is stuck. This is causing wraparound in certain numeric ranges. The camera need repairs. Please contact Bill at service, bill@sbig.com
