    Hi,

I am using MaxIm DL version 6.21 to control an SBIG STL-11000M camera. When I take an image using CCD 2 (either through the guide tab or the expose tab), it returns all zeros.

I connected to the camera in CCDOps5 and was able to read out the guide camera normally.

Note, the guide camera worked with my previous version of MaxIm DL, so this is likely an issue with the upgrade to 6.21.

    Thanks,
    Rose

Check that the camera settings have the guide chip option for INTERNAL, if you are using the internal sensor.
Camera Control Window - Setup Tab - under camera 1, click [Setup Camera].
    Similar to this:

If it has somehow been changed to EXTERNAL, and you do not have a Remote Guide Head attached, you will get all zeros.

Also, version 6.40 is current, so you are quite behind in versions. Help... Check for Updates will take you to a web page showing the latest version you are entitled to.

That did it - thank you!

Yes, we are behind in versions, but we will need to purchase additional updates.
