STL-11kM, MOAG-ST & AO8 compatibility

    Anyone know whether it's possible to use an AO8 with an Astrodon MOAG-ST on an STL-11000m?

    Not recommended. The AO-8 optical diameter is too small for the large 24mm x 36mm sensor size of the STL-11000M. Severe vignetting and positioning of the guide sensor will be a problem.
    AO-X is what is needed.

    How about the MOAG-ST so I can use a RGH?

    If I recall correctly, you need the MOAG-A for SBIG STL/AOL with the 2" STL adaptor.
    If you've already got the hardware, you could prototype it, but it really is not going to do the job.
