STT 8300M and Meade

    Hi,

    Does anyone have experience connnecting the STT 8300M to a Meade reflector? I assume this is a Precise Parts job? Bill Lynch and I look and there seems to be so stock connector you all sell?

    Have a friend who has a LX200 12" he would ike to try on our system.

    STT has a 2” nosepiece...

    Thanks Doug,

    Looks like I can connect the SBIG 2" adapter directly to the Meade temporarily as my friend has a 2.5" Meade connector that steps down to a 2" three thumbscrew adapter. I think I can test this. I think the definitive solution that include the FR is Precise Parts as in the image. Adapter.jpg

    Yes the 2" adapter will work... but the Precise Parts adapter will be a superior solution.
