STXL16200 Difference Between Electronic and Mechanical Shutter ?

Colin made a comment on a different thread that has me wondering:

• First, do the STXL model cameras have separate electronic and mechanical shutters?

• Second: if they do, is there a difference between the minimum exposure time for the electronic shutter vs the mechanical shutter?

I can't find it in the manual, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that the minimum exposure using the mechanical shutter is 0.1 second.
