No, the Nikon D810 is not currently supported in MaxIm DL.

    Thanks!
Is there any chance to get a driver working for the D810 in the near future?
I need some testing done with this model.

    Best,
    Johannes

I do not currently have any information regarding support for this model. I can add a note to our internal database requesting support, but it will likely not be for several months at the earliest.

Hey Tim, Good news on the D800.

I discovered I did not have the latest firmware on my D800. It is much more, though not perfectly stable, with the flashed upgrade.

I also noted that the camera will use an USB 3.0 connection. Download speed is about 2 minutes versus 3-4 for USB 2.0. A lot than can go wrong in 3-4 minutes.

So all I need now is to get rid of the clouds. I have collected sequences of 10-20 images of 180s length. I am using a very modern laptop (Dell M3800). I was using an older D630 that has a real serial port, but the d ownloads too 2X as long and I think this is just asking for it.

Might be worth trying the D810 with the D800 settings after it is flashed to the latest firmware......

Add me to the list as well.
There's a second iteration of the D810 coming end of May.
The D810A is Nikons first Astro DSLR. It sure would be nice if it could be controlled by Maxim DL out of the gate running...
