I connected my 8300M camera to MaximDL and the TDI tab shows up, so I assume the camera does support TDI mode. When I try it though I get an image, but also this error: Camera Error (1683816448). What does that mean? Craig
Thanks Doug, I will try one of the STXL cameras. If I want to take a 1 hour scan do I set the exposure tab to 1 hour? And does it record to a single large image or multiple images with each image the size to hold the sensor size in rows? Craig
I installed my STXL 6303 camera and get nearly the same error: When I try it though I get an image, but also this error: Camera Error (1683619840). Craig
Those are weird error codes - not what the cameras normally produce. First step - make sure all your software is up-to-date. Download the latest SBIG Driver Checker and update your drivers. Also update to the latest version of MaxIm DL. If that doesn't sort you out, then I'd have to hand this off to @Adam Robichaud for investigation.
The SBIG camera software was up to date but MaximDL was v6.21. I updated to 6.29 and it is now working. Thanks Doug, Craig
