Hi folks... After a few years break, I am back in astro imaging. I am currently upgrading my observatory and in this connection trying to wake up my ST2000XM camera with AO7 and CFW8. I have downloadedc and installed the newest drivers from SBIG Driver Checker and currently use sbigu64.sys (ver 2.41.0.1.338). The camera is connected to USB port and is found in the hardware list seen in the control panel. My system is WIN 10, 64 bit. However, the camera cannot start and I get windows error message "device cannot start code 10" error and when runnign MaxIm DL "could not initialize CCD camera, error 27". The last version of CCDOPS works fine, but does not see the camera. The camera reacts to power by CFW8 turning, but the indicator lamp does not light up..... So... I am stocked for now. Anyb ideas how I might proceed? Could the "code 10" error indicate a wrong DLL file? I had to copy the SBIGUDrv.dll to the WINDOWS/system path to get CCDOPPS running.... Please help... best Alf J.
Alf, It's possible that there has been a failure. Send me an email, bill@sbig.com, and I'll give you the information for sending it in. -Bill
Alf, "I have downloaded and installed the newest drivers from SBIG Driver Checker" Did you download a new DriverChecker64 to do this or did you use one that you already on the computer? If you used an older version, download and run a new one. -Bill
Hi Bill... Yes, I did download the new 64 checker. I have sent you a private email now as requested...
