We are using five STXL-6303e cameras for a project. One of them recently started returning images that are only 0 (i.e., every pixel value in the image is 0). This happens no matter the readout mode and for both CCDops on Windows 10 and CCDops-lite on OSX (and also a custom linux driver). The connection to the camera seems fine; e.g., the temperature can be controlled. (Many power cycles have not magically fixed anything.) I tried updating the firmware through the Windows app to do so and the problem remains. Any ideas?

If it shows any sensitivity to light it may need a bias/offset adjustment, which could be done remotely... but if not then it probably has a fault. Most likely it will need to visit Bill at SBIG Service & Repair.

    What is your serial number?

Test records don't show anything unusual.

It's under warranty. Please contact bill@sbig.com
