    Dear all,
I have an old ST-7E camera that I managed to salvage with a windows XP computer.
Unfortunately I get a "Shutter error" and opening the camera I notice that the shutter indeed does not open/close by oscillates around a steady position.

Does anybody on this forum has a spare part to change the shutter?Or any advice where to find one?

    Thanks a lot,
    Nino

    Nino,

I'm doubtful that the shutter is the actual problem. It could be a few different things... in the old parallel cameras there is an IC on the Digital Board (the one that power and the parallel cable plug in to) that, when it fails, can cause a symptom like you describe. Are you willing to send it in for evaluation and possible repair?

    Hi Bill
it depends on the cost. I am located in the US Virgin Islands. So you suggests there is nothing I can do from my side?
    Thanks a lot,
    Nino

I'm not sure what could be done on your end.
