Your advice is needed. I bought a ST-i camera and want to use it with a recent (1 year old) Losmandy G11 Gemini 2 controller. The problem is that, when the ST-i is connected to the Gemini control-unit, the message "Autoguide error" appears on the LCD-display. Also if the ST-i is connected only one direction of the hand-controller does function. The ST-i camera was checked and found OK. The cable between ST-i and Gemini-controller is correct, that is both connectors are opposite on the cable (position 1 becomes position 6). Also the "mode" of the Gemini control-unit is set correct. The strange thing is that a ST-4000 camera and the internal guide CCD works fine with help of the "realy adapter box". But the signals of the ST-i come from optically isolated photo-transitors (according to the manual). So there would be no need for a "realy adapter box"with the ST-i as far as I understand . Correct ?
