Am I correct in that overscan processing can help solve for bias drift? If so, what is the overscan region on the 16803 sensor? I've read here that it is 128 pixels wide. Is there an option in the driver or firmware to turn this on or off?

Any detailed and definitive information source on overscan for the STX16803 would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

Open the SBIG Driver Checker and click the Config Drv button. The Overscan function will be available:

Here is the sensor data sheet:

Page 3 shows 20 dark pixels are available at the start of each row, with 1 "ignore" pixel between them and the array.
