Banding issue STXL1102

I've experienced the same thing and like Doug said, it's a result of the design of the KAI 11002 chip. I use CCDBand-aid to remove the banding. It works great but if you use it, you need to use the file convert feature under "File" and convert the file to 32bit IEEE format. The banding is most noticeable in low S/N ratio exposures.
