The latest version of our DL Imaging driver is now available at:

DLAPI

Version : 2.7.1.0
Description :
- Optimized image transfer for the AC2020BSI
- Added 2x2 software binning for the AC4040BSI
- Fixed software binning issue with the AC2020BSI and AC4040FSI where StackPro images would produce dark areas/black images
- Fixed a mismatch between default filter wheel position after initialization and actual position
- A variety of stability/performance improvements
- Added greater compatibility with old firmware releases for ease of upgrade
- Added features for OEM use

DL Config Utility

Version : 2.7.1.0
Description :
- DL Config Utility will show list of filter wheels or adaptive optics attached to the camera I2C Auxiliary port
- Help.. About now lists DLAPI file versions and this can be copied to the clipboard for tech support
- Added Logging support to File menu
- Fixed a bug that would cause the application to hang before the GUI had fully loaded. The application will always appear after the user launches it, instead of waiting for the cameras to be found
- Fixed a bug in x64 application that may crash the application on device load
- Improved tab key order in main window

ASCOM Driver

Important Note: ASCOM Platform 6.6 SP1 is required for this update.

Description :
- Added support for a default readout mode selection on camera connect. Allows ASCOM-based programs that do not support readout modes to default to a mode such as High Gain
- Fixed a bug preventing control of RBI preflash, External Trigger for cameras with those capabilities
- Improved error reporting around failed pulse guide commands
- Made camera setup dialogs more responsive to device state: fan controls update immediately on changes, and dialog now better reflects device state
- Various stability improvements
- Various improvements in the setup and other screens

 

Important note:
If you are using ASCOM for any astronomy equipment on your machine - verify that you are running ASCOM Platform 6.6 SP1.
Launch ASCOM Diagnostics, and you should see this:

Important note:
The Microsoft Visual Studio Runtime libraries are needed by the DLAPI drivers and related software.
New machines or fresh installations of Windows do not includes them.
