Hello, [Repost here as suggested by Colin] Just unboxed my FW8G-ALUMA and trying to install on the camera. Hoping for clear skies. I am unable to remove the filter wheel's front plate and lift it off the base plate. I have removed the four 4-40 cap screws. Is there a FW8G-ALUMA specific instruction? Am I missing something? I've asked my colleague @Tim to chime in. Am wondering if it is just stuck due to paint. Be very careful as the long 4-40 screws hold the whole body together, all the way to the fan assembly on the bottom.
Hello Colin, Tim, Thanks for confirming that the four screws are the only ones. I was able to use my iphone battery replacement tool and pry it open albeit with some force. We are good for now. Thanks, -Kalpesh
