    Hi
I hope to connect my stt8300 fw8g to a William optics redcat. I need to remove the 2” nosepiece and thread an adaptor into the filter wheel . I believe it is 2.156-24 . What is the metric equivalent. Most ready made connectors are M56 x 0.75.

There is no "metric equivalent" of that size -its based on SAE standards.
We have a series of accessory plates that can used, for example an M48x0.75 may fit the Redcat nicely.

I can't vouch for the backfocus needed with that camera/filterwheel/Redcat, as am not that familiar with the new WO scopes.
We are expecting to have more in stock in little over a week.
You can order direct or through your Diffraction Limited Dealer.
