If you have an SBIG ST/STL/STXL/STX/STT/STF camera, see below.

If you have a really old SBIG camera with a parallel port, you'll need to try a Windows XP or earlier computer, and the oldest stuff on the Legacy Product Support page. We can't help you with this; we can't fix it; and it is a museum piece :)

Go here for all the stuff for your older camera:
    https://diffractionlimited.com/legacy-product-support/

For USB or Ethernet cameras, download SBIG Driver Checker 4.05 for Windows:
    https://cdn.diffractionlimited.com/downloads/SetupDriverChecker64.exe
and if you wish to use CCDOps:
    https://cdn.diffractionlimited.com/downloads/InstOps.exe
or sign up for a FREE TRIAL of MaxIm DL Pro:
    https://diffractionlimited.com/maxim-dl/

You will need the Windows Runtime 2010, especially if this is a new computer or fresh install. See this article:
    https://forum.diffractionlimited.co...talling-microsoft-visual-studio-runtime.9001/

You'll probably also need to turn on Microsoft extra updates for Windows, run Windows Update a few times. See this article for Windows 11:
    https://forum.diffractionlimited.com/threads/windows-11-extra-updates.9640/
See this article for Windows 10:
    https://forum.diffractionlimited.com/threads/windows-10-extra-updates.9664/

Communication reliability will be improved if you follow this article on Windows Power Management:
    https://forum.diffractionlimited.co...connects-turn-off-usb-selective-suspend.7848/

    Good luck!
    Colin
P.S. All of these cameras have been retired for many years now, and we no longer actively support the legacy hardware. Thank you for being a customer and fan for years.
